Private One-on-One Lessons with Susan Rabinowitz, taught at your convenience, will improve your skills, reinforce your classes, and deepen your understanding.

If you've ever trained in an ordinary group class, you know how distracting your surroundings can be. Even at home, interruptions are often unavoidable.

Susan Rabinowitz believes that your personal training must be carefully planned and guided by a qualified teacher and that a private environment is important for the most effective communication between you and your trainer.
      
In your Private Training session, you will receive Susan's complete attention and you will find it surprisingly easy to focus on yourself, and take control of your body. Susan will work one-on-one with you to address your interests, answer your questions, and resolve your concerns. The instruction will proceed at your own pace. Private Training is available for students at al levels.

History of Personal Training in Tai Chi.
Throughout history there have been two types of internal arts training: Public Group classes and Private Individual (Personal Training) classes. These different types of classes have been designed for the needs of different types of students. Those who are interested in getting started and developing their Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation skills attend the Public Group classes. Students who seek deeper knowledge take Private Individual classes in addition to the Public Group classes. Those with more specific needs might only train privately.
     
Public Group Training is where most people learn Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation. In these classes students learn the essentials of  the internal arts and receive general corrections. Public group classes are recommended for all students.
      
Personal Training is for students who want to get the most out of their studies. Students taking Private Individual training receive more detailed information and specific corrections, enabling them to progress more rapidly. Personal training is excellent as an adjunct to group classes and is designed for those who wish to delve more deeply into Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation. Private Individual training is useful for students at all levels of experience and all health conditions, and is available to those who cannot attend group classes.
         
Who Should Take Personal Training

  • Those who want to get the most out of their training.
  • Those who want to reach the highest attainment possible.
  • Those who find the group classes too fast, or too slow for their needs.
  • Those in ill health who want to improve their health and increase their energy.
  • Those who want to deepen the training they receive in Group classes.
  • Those whose schedules do not allow them to attend Group classes.

Personal Training is for everyone. Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation have been shown to be beneficial to almost all aspects of health and private lessons are the best way to improve your skills. In Private classes students receive extra information and personal corrections enabling them to improve their practice, deepen their understanding and get the most out of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation. Personal training will help students to reduce stress and improve their health.
      
There is no replacement for Personal Training for those who want to deepen their knowledge and get the best results in the least amount of time.
