Medical Chi Kung: The Inside Story is the Taoist Arts Center's 2006 summer retreat, taking place in New York City. Director Susan Rabinowitz will teach The Marriage of Heaven and Earth Chi Kung, a one-movement exercise that incorporates centuries of Chinese medicine. Once learned it can be practiced in minutes. The 4000 year old Marriage of Heaven and Earth promotes the efficient movement of chi through the body, and is widely used in China to relieve back, neck and joint problems.

Free from routine stress and guided by a master teacher, here is a rare opportunity to learn and practice Medical Chi Kung, the part of Chinese medicine that cultivates and controls the energy of chi for increased health and well being. Seasoned students will find themselves enriched and rejuvenated. Newcomers to this healing art will get off to a relaxing yet powerful start.

Practiced by millions of people throughout the world Medical Chi Kung improves the circulation of blood and chi, aids the delivery of oxygen to the cells, stimulates the immune system and strengthens the chi of the entire system

Instructor Susan Rabinowitz, Director of the Taoist Arts Center in New York City, has more than twenty-five years experience in the internal arts of Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation. Susan has studied Medical Chi Kung with several leading teachers, including Master B.P.Chan, Professor Ping Cheng and Taoist Master B.K.Frantzis, a lineage master in the Water-method of Lao Tzu.
