The Art & Science of Cultivating Qi (Chi)
(Posted 11/11/2001)

Qigong, sometimes seen as Chi Kung or Chi Gong, is quickly gaining popularity in the west.

When the qi is cultivated the acupuncture meridians become open and flowing thus creating health and well being. Qigong which is sometimes called needleless acupuncture can help a person to cultivate and increase their chi for health and longevity.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine when qi is either stagnant or deficient people get sick. When the meridians are open and the qi is flowing, sickness and disease happen less and people live longer and healthier lives.
