Chi Kung for Nurses: A Personal Path to Energy Renewal
(Posted 5/5/2002)

Mary Santoro RN a nurse for 32 years practices Chi Kung to renew her energy. She practices every moring for just 15 minutes and says she is amazed at how much better she feels. Her chronic fatigue and irritability are gone, her aching muscles are improved, and her occasional bouts of depression are a thing of the past.

Nurses care for others often comes at the expense of their own health, but since Mary has been practicing Chi Kung she feels great. She says that practicing Chi Kung helps her to renew herself physically, as well as emotionally and spiritually. "I feel I am a better person, and a better nurse, because I took time to do something just for me".
