Susan Rabinowitz
Susan is the heart of the Taoist Arts Center.

With 40+ years in the arts, Susan Rabinowitz is also a massage therapist, has studied acupuncture, and holds a degree in psychology. She’s taught in many respected places and designed a Chi Kung program for seniors.

A senior student of Taoist Master Bruce Kumar Frantzis from whom she learned the Water Method of the internal arts. Susan has studied the Wu Style Tai Chi, Taoist Meditation and Nei Gong with Mr. Frantzis since 1987.

(Frantzis learned these subjects as a formal disciple of the late Taoist Grand Master Liu Hung Chieh, with whom he studied in Beijing, China.).

At the center of Susan’s teaching is the Water Method of Lao Tzu and the early Taoists—a gentle practice that, like water shaping rock, helps clear emotional and energetic blocks and build lasting balance and health.

Susan is a graduate of the Wm. C. C. Chen School of Tai Chi Chuan, where she studied Yang Style Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Meditation with Master B. P. Chan

B.P. Chan was my first teacher. His knowledge was prodigious, his kindness was legendary, his teaching was clear and precise. I’ll be grateful to him forever.. “ Susan Rabinowitz

Susan has also learned from other leading internal arts teachers, including Master Ping Zhen Cheng, with whom she studied the Wu Dong style of Tai Chi Chuan, chi kung and meditation.

Master Jou founded the Tai Chi Farm in Warwick, NY in 1984. He held classes and workshops in taijiquan, qigong, and meditation, invited world-renowned teachers to share their arts, and hosted the Annual Chang San Feng Festival.
