Energy (chi) is basic to all Tai Chi, chi kung and Taoist meditation. In this course energy, awareness and movement practices teach students develop, store and increase their internal chi. Walking Qigong (Chi Kung)
Walking Chi Kung is a medical chi kung system developed by Madam Guo Lin in 1970 and now practiced in Chinese hospitals. With gentle movements, like the CK Walk, self-massage, and yin–yang balancing, it relieves pain, strengthens the immune system, and supports recovery for people at all fitness levels.
Yi Jin Jing: Muscle Washing Classic
A 1,500-year-old chi kung, The Yi Jin Jing is a 1500 year old chi kung. This classic Muscle Washing technique strengthens ligaments and tendons, opens meridians, and enhances flexibility. Attributed to Bodhidharma, founder of Chan Buddhism, it was taught to Shaolin monks to support well-being and self-defense. To this day, its active but gentle methods release blocked chi, balance the organs, and train students to emit energy from the hands.
Yin Yang Hands Qigong (Chi Kung)
Yin/Yang Hands Chi Kung (often called Coiling Hands Chi Kung) activates the bodies natural spiraling pathways, loosens the joints and tones the muscles. These coiling movements in this set are the key to the internal power of Tai Chi and Chi Kung and will help students emit energy from the center to their fingertips, where they may use if tor health, work, or martial readiness.
